Cinemas in Berlin

This section contains tips for where you can watch films in Berlin with an emphasis on places showing English-language films.
I tend to go to Yorck cinemas, as I have a year pass which allows me to pay €229 a year to go to any Yorck cinema for free.
Some Yorck cinemas are in the list below, but Berlin has all sorts of other great cinemas.

Charlottenburg

Address: Kantstraße 10a
Nearest Station: Zoological Gardens (U2, U9, various S-Bahns)
Brief Description: Big old cinema. Relatively conservative programme but home to the odd gem

Brief Description: one of Berlin’s oldest English-language cinemas. Generally nothing too radical, but plenty worth watching

Brief Description: Oldest cinema in Germany, based in Kreuzkölln with a good independent programme and a number of special events.
Currently under threat of gentrification. Be a Moviemento hero here.
